Putting out (Setting up) Equipment: Only trained persons are to put out the trampoline equipment.
This training must have been carried out by A TUTOR Coach, or, a coach qualified at Level 2 or above.
Non qualified persons must only work under the full direction of a qualified coach (Level 2 or above).

Non qualified persons must only work under the full direction of a qualified coach (Level 2 or above).

Trampoline Gymnastics(Risk of Injury)
Sessions must be run by Fully Qualified (British Gymnastics – certificates awarded) or a Member of Staff with an up-to-date Teachers Award. Pupils and Staff must be aware that permitted skills are limited by level of qualification held by the coach.
It is policy that coaches should not coach above their qualification level unless under mentorship and guidance of a more senior coach.
Somersaults must only be performed when a level 2 qualified coach is present (or above).
Assistant coaches must not coach Someraults unless a snr coach is on site.
Coaches must be First Aid trained and fully understand their role, limitations and functions.
If any injury is suspected, as serious, e.g. concussion, neck, spinal, broken limbs or other, then:
*DO NOT MOVE CASULALTY.
*FOLLOW EMERGENCY FIRST AID PROCEDURES AND ONLY ONE PERSON SHOULD CALL 999 AND ASK FOR AMBULANCE.
*WHEN IN DOUBT, TREAT ANY INJURY AS POTENTIALLY SERIOUS.
*ALL HEAD AND NECK INJURIES SHOULD BE TREATED AS SERIOUS.
*Log and report all injuries. To prevent injury Pupils must:
ALWAYS
1. Follow the Trampoline Code of Points.
2. Follow all local/college rules.
3. Follow Coaches Instructions.
4. Keep to normal PROGRESSIONS.
5. Perform the duties of a Spotter.
6. Dress appropriately for the sport (no jewellery).
7. Read and apply ‘THE SAFETY RULES’ as published on the Sports Hall wall.
8. Never go under the trampoline.
9. Never bounce without spotters.
10. Must have the required “Pre-requisits” (check with Coach) before attempting more difficult skills.
11. Check for unsafe actions and behaviour and do not get into acts/games of daring.
12. Keep Fit: Never let your fitness levels drop. Unfit performers do tend to injure themselves. Never attempt skills that are above your fitness levels. Get fit, attend training, stay safe. Never miss session from your regular training pattern, else fitness levels will drop and you will increase your risk of injury. More injuries can happen if you increase your level of difficulty without increasing your level of fitness.
13. Record fitness training session (runs, Gym sessions, exercise) in your log books. Please remember to turn up for training 'ON TIME' else you miss the warm-ups and these are important aspects to training.
